A group of my friends and I had a girls night at 1905, and it was such a great experience! Daniel was our server, and he was absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly, and so patient with us. Taking an order for a group of eight girls who can’t stop talking is no easy task, but he handled it with total grace and a great attitude. He made sure everyone felt taken care of and kept everything running smoothly all night. Huge shoutout to Daniel for making our night even better, he was awesome!
I had the 1905 smash burger and it’s hands down the best burger I’ve ever had in my life, and I don’t eat red meat much. Also their what looks like homemade ranch is second to none!!!!!!! Also the honey wings are incredible as well.
Nice calm atmosphere. 1st waitress had bad vibes but brightened up by the end of the night. 2nd waitress was friendly and cheerful. My thoughts on the food .... Wild Hisbiscus Virgen - very tart, not sweet Peruvian Ceviche - Boring but spicy Desert Wings (honey tapatio) - too spicy, but good. All America Burger - delicious. we just need to take the soggy lettuce out. Sweet garlic asparagus - My favorite. Dessert - Tres Leches bread pudding - Absolutely amazing! I could eat this every day 😂 A bit expensive
Had the best dining experience due to our server Danielle. She was phenomenal and knew exactly what to recommend on the menu. She made our experience at 1905 exceptional. Dining out with a serious gluten allergy can be challenging, especially in the valley where many places don’t fully understand or accommodate it. That’s why this experience meant so much to us. We were so happy to see clearly labeled gluten-free (GF) options on the menu, such a rare and appreciated detail. But what truly set this place apart was the care and awareness from the staff. The chef personally came out to our table and she reassured us that our meal would be safe and that she understood the seriousness of celiac disease. That level of attention and knowledge is incredibly meaningful. On top of that, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. We especially appreciated the quality ingredients like wild-caught shrimp and Brandt beef. This restaurant is truly a gem in our community and for the Imperial Valley's Gluten Free community. We felt safe, cared for, and genuinely enjoyed our meal. We will absolutely be back!
Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We just happened to be passing through the area and saw that this place had good reviews, and it’s for good reason! It was a quiet, high-end atmosphere with friendly staff and killer food. We made it just in time for the happy hour menu. We ordered the short rib nachos, tapatio honey wings and shared a crispy chicken sandwich. Then we finished our meal with the tres leches bread pudding. It was all outstanding. The short rib was so tender and completely falling apart and the cheese sauce was so good. The wings had a lovely heat to them and a great texture. The sandwich was awesome. We loved the arugula and breading on the chicken. Also, the sweet potato fries were probably the best I had ever had. So crispy and good. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quality meal in the area. Ticks all the boxes!
I wanted to take time to give an excellent review to all the staff in 1905, specially Naomi and Bryan. My daughter and I had a long school weekday and I wanted to take her out for dinner to celebrate her birthday. A lot of restaurants were closing and thankfully 1905 was still open late. We went to the restaurant with still an hour from closing time (9pm) and Naomi was so attentive. We let her know that it was my daughter’s bday and that we were hungry, I’m pretty sure she had a long day at work but was enthusiastic about our special occasion and she gave us some recommendations. My daughter and I shared a delicious sirloin steak and we ordered the 1905 macaroni and cheese, salad, and potato puree. All sides were great but the macaroni and cheese was out of this world. It was perfectly cheesy with bacon and honestly I could go to 1905 just to eat the Mac n cheese. The portions were substantial. If I needed a drink other serves working from the restaurant or the bar were there to happily help as well. At the end of dinner Naomi brought dessert on the house for my daughter to enjoy (A Mango and Tajín Sorbet I believe) and Bryan brought the entire crew to sign happy birthday to my daughter and they even signed a birthday card for her. What a pleasant wonderful night, everyone was awesome and they make you feel at home. Great place to dine in with family. Thank you again Naomi, Bryan, and 1905 family.
